Provisional storyboard

This is just a first draft. You'll notice for instance that there are patterns who don't have a fabric assigned (I have to pull out fabric during the weekend and decide). There are patterns I'm not yet sure I will make for this wardrobe (Burda WOF 06/2007, jacket 107) put I put them here anyway, awaiting a final decision. The Loes Hinse Hepburn pants are going to be in or out, depending on how the muslin will look. I've got the Burda WOF 09/2007 yesterday but so far, I'm not that enthusiastic about it.

The Modern Sewing Lace skirt will be sewn in a black suiting with very tiny white dots, but I forgot to take a picture of the fabric.

I need more tops, but these are the tops that I like so far. And anyway, this is not a contest with strict rules, this is me wanting to have a wardrobe, therefore I can add bought tops as well, as long as they go with at least three other items.

This weekend I will pull fabrics and take pictures of them. Pictures of accesories will follow also.

Until then, have a fun weekend!

I like a lot of what you've chosen! I see quite a few BWOF's in there, too.

You've made some great choices! The color scheme will be quite elegant.

I see at least a couple of models that are in my to do list too! One of them is the Vogue (Roland Mouret) dress; I'm not sure if I'll make that one since it's not a style I'd wear to the office but I do love the model and I have a beautiful navy blue cotton stretch either for that model or one of the dresses featured in the September BWOF.

I like your choices. I need to do this too, my local fabric store is having a sale soon and I need to get ready so I know what I should buy...

Nice board so far. I can't wait to see it with all the fabric choices and accessories. I like the idea of SWAPs that integrate in some store bought clothes. There are just some basics that do not need to be messed with.

OMG, do we love the process almost more than the results? Well, maybe not that far, but still. I did this type of story board for a color class in college (lo these many years ago), got an A on it, but the professor said he didn't know any women who could stick to that and be so organized! Wish I could show him yours!

Glad you like the initial plan! Summserset, there are indeed quite some BWOFs, there's probably going to be more.
Tany, I'm fortunate enough to be able to wear a dress such as the Vogue/Mouret dress at work without any problem whatsoever. The problem is I can't decide which view I'd like to make :)
Christina and Loopylulu, I'll keep updating the board.
Cherie - indeed the process itself can be quite addictive. I don't know I'm organized enough to stick to the plan :) but I'll surely do my best!

I like your collection. I'm starting to design a collection as well.

Wow, so many of the same patterns that I'm eyeing! I can't wait to see them made!
